"CSWIP and Equity Questions: Conversation and Workshop"

 

Come participate in a structured conversation, led by Dr. Jane Dryden, about how CSWIP is doing in terms of its mission, “supporting women interested in philosophy, and women in philosophy, and to fostering feminism in philosophy and philosophy in feminism.”

 

Is CSWIP doing enough to welcome and mentor junior philosophers? Are CSWIP meetings and events accessible and inclusive? What is the role of CSWIP for promoting equity within the profession? Is CSWIP a hospitable organization for philosophers from different parts of the discipline? The aim of the session will be to discuss some possible priorities and initiatives for CSWIP going forward.
